This is written by an investigative reporter from the Epoch Times, which SHOULD BE a well written, substantiated article, but rather I found it to be full of things that don't make sense from beginning to end. Let's face it...ANYONE will succeed if they have purpose in life...not just blacks. The author states the reforms in the 60's that created the welfare system actually did very little for the black community (but solidified a lot of demonrat votes). The reforms encouraged single parenthood with fathers not around and generally allowed people to stay home, have babies and not work...not a recipe for success. He then used some statistics from the CDC that purports that black men do more for or with their kids than other races, which I don't believe at all. Who believes anything the CDC says????? Anyway...not a fan of this article...snippets of truth but it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense overall to me. I vote that all people have a sense of purpose and goals.
