There is something you must understand.
"Peer reviewed" is NOT science. It is academia. Those peers who all agree, in MOST cases, did NOT do any of the research themselves. They may have skimmed through and said, "Yeah, looks good," or they may have not actually read (or even understood) the material AT ALL.
So, you will not likely get peer reviewed anything on this subject, because those peers who are published in the journals are PAID to agree with the narrative.
So, you have to use critical thinking. The best way for a newbie is to understand BOTH SIDES of a topic (sometimes there are more than two sides). Understand what both sides are saying. Understand how (or even if) they are refuting what the other side is saying. THEN, figure it out for yourself.
Let's say you want to drive from Los Angeles to New York, and you don't know which route to take, don't have GPS, don't have a map, so you rely on "experts."
Person A says to drive north to Seattle, go into Canada, drive east to Toronto, come back down through Detroit, head south to San Antonio, then east to Miami, then north to Cleveland, and then east to New York.
Person B says head east to Las Vegas, then east to Denver, then east to St. Louis, then east to Pittsburgh, then east to New York.
Person A will not be able to explain why their route is better than Person B's route, but Person B will be able to explain that the total distance is much shorter, and therefore much faster.
Then, you have to decide for yourself which information is most likely correct.
When we live in time where "truth" is ignored, and people insist on "muh science" and "muh experts" ... just because ... and for no real reason ... then YOU have to gather evidence and decide for yourself.
So, the peer reviewed stuff should be out the window. If she comes up with something "peer reviewed," insist on finding out if the peers were paid and if they did any experiments themselves.
Meanwhile, collect evidence that COUNTERS what the "mainstream" narrative is.
Here are some I found with a quick search. (Most search engines are compromised by excluding raw information and only including propaganda that has been filtered by the search engine. So, I used Yandex.com for this search):

Your wife must understand that she cannot rely on "trusted experts" because MOST of those people do NOT read the actual research themselves -- if there even is any research.
The more you look into this topic, the more you will find that almost all "research" that supports the use of vaccines is nothing but FRAUD.
To add to that, no one can reasonably expect to succeed in medical research and science without NIH funding at some point. The ability for scientists to get that funding is expected by many employers. Which means that when someone gets medical advice, it is as if Anthony Fauci is in the room, directing the conversation.
