For instance, I'm a Christian, homosexuality is, in my opinion offensive to God, therefore it is the work of Satan. Satan is hate. So I'd have to ban all of the homos. That isn't freedom. God gave us a choice. Under God, it's our duty to allow God's people, all people, to make their own decisions. Good or bad. You also have the choice to not listen to the things you do not accept as the truth. Temptations will be there always, it's in us as humans to be led astray from God because of these temptations. That's where strength and prayer comes into the picture. Theyre doing everything they can to control us, this is just another tactic.
