The ONLY problem that I see with this is that any other Republican will have to work with Democrats in order to take the Speaker's Gavel. This means that unless they get the votes and then screw their Dem backers (and I'm perfectly fine with this) they will have to weaken their agenda to appease the Dems.

OR they'll vote for a Democrat Speaker.

McCarthy should NOT be Speaker but I'm not sure what an adequate trade-off would be.
