For the first 50 years of my life the phone hung on the kitchen wall. Had a cordless phone for a while but threw the thing away because I wasn't about to tote it around the house so it was useless to me. I wouldn't have a cell phone now if it weren't for my kids insisting on it. It stays in my truck and I never take it out even when I go into a store or restaurant. I also never call out on it which means it may get used once every 2 weeks at most when one of the kids or grandkids calls while I'm in my truck. If I don't see their name on it I don't answer it. To me a cell phone is an absolute waste of money and time.
