Brings to mind that British school teacher/principal that went canoeing in Brazil. She was warned by the locals that she was entering a very dangerous area and that she would definitely be killed. She made some social media posts mocking their warning. The next day she paddled into the forbidden zone and was raped and killed. Noteworthy that someone with such horrendous judgement was in charge of teaching children.
