Who are we to know the mind of god? All sorts of explanations arise..perhap they were needed to help someone else explore death etc through their death and learn it's not the end...if you know there is a life beyond this life..that only the body dies...the spirit lives on..then you can be like Shakespeare who talked about the world being a stage and we come on and strut our stuff and exit stage left..paraphrasing here.

Only when you don't fear death can you really live
