Read this thread from Reddit. They still don't get it... now they want to blame inaction from the police. What do they expect after the recklessly run city officials gave over 50 police officers no choice but to resign. My wife and I left Portland last year. We could see the writing on the wall. The city robs you blind in property taxes while never cleaning up any of the garbage that they allow the homeless there to dump all over the place. We had cars being picked clean in my neighborhood. Druggies all over the place like zombies. I called it a slow motion zombie apocalypse. The city is ran by complete theives who could careless about the people who actually pay taxes. I've never seen so much filth in my life. It looks like things are finally getting so bad there that the left wants their police back LOL. They continue to blame everyone but themselves for their idiot policies allowing horrible drugs like Meth and Herion to be uncriminalized thinking it won't cause a problem. They don't understand how expensive and addicting those drugs are, so you have to get the cash from somewhere. What a mess. So glad I left.
