That is a twisting of the New Testament. And yes there is a new testament. The old testament or the old covenant was the law. In order to be perfect you had to follow every dot and tittle.

No one in history has every done that. The law was designed to show us we are unable to follow it.

Of course we can point to Jesus but He was the Son of God.

The new testament or new covenant is the law perfected was given to create the law in our hearts. It is based on faith not on works. It is what the first two commandments were all about. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength and Love your neighbor as yourself.

Example, The old covenant ... do not kill. The new covenant... love you enemy. The VERY LEAST thing you would do to love your enemy is not kill him.

The old covenant was merely a shadow of the new covenant.

The new covenant is written on our hearts. It is not religion. It does not matter what any Religion says. Christian or not.

As far as God is concerned. There are no more Jews or gentiles. We are all one in Christ.
