Nov. 29th, 2022 As I was outside late last night I saw in the sky above our house and most of our yard and fields clear skies and stars. Just west of us barely at the edge of our property I saw a hazy sky. The Holy Spirit spoke to me tonight and said just this “Something Big is coming!” I know not exactly what but I can feel that it will be something many fear who do not know the Lord, and those who are enemies of the Lord. It will also be something wonderful and joyful and a cause for celebration for God’s children who love and fear and serve Him. This morning when I took the dogs out, clouds were moving through the sky at a rapid pace and a giant flock of blackbirds or starlings were swooping diving and going every which way over one of our fields the the lower portion of our yard. They would land in large groups only to take off again. I could feel a strange sensation in the air. A large storm is brewing and I can sense that it is not just the weather but spiritual and a battle is taking place where God and His angels are battling Satan and His evil dominion on our behalf. Isaiah 25:4-5 4 You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall 5 and like the heat of the desert. You silence the uproar of foreigners; as heat is reduced by the shadow of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless is stilled. Luke 8:23-25 23 As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger. 24 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. 25 “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.” Psalms 27:4-6 4 One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. 5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. 6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD. Psalms 55:6-8 6 I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest. 7 I would flee far away and stay in the desert; 8 I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm.”
