If you are the DS and are trying to develop a CBDC and are way behind the Trump?q team QFS curve, then the easiest way to catch up is acquire existing companies that have already done the leg work. If they won't sell or play along with the DS, then the next move is to take out the principle and swoop in to buy what is left on the cheap. Think: Jack Reacher plot.
