Couple of things. I agree that vaccines are not the best solution but this case is a little different.
Indian vaccines are not MANAGED based. Pfizer tried everything to get into India but their mRNA vaccines were not allowed.
the adverse reaction rate was .001% of all vaccinations. Extremely low.

However the voluntary aspect is bullshit ss the environment created by the virus and the government was to strongly vaccinate yourself.
The government here is also saying that remedy is available in law and that the current route taken is not the right one.
It ses to me that the western vaccine companies are still sore about India making their own vaccines and losing out on hundreds of billions in revenue. They could be propping up this case in the backend.
There was a booster requirement initially, but there has been no mandate or ask from the government for the last 6 -8 months.
