Just curious if any of you are seeing any positive news coming out of any of your LOCAL groups which are forming to stay on top of city, county, state, and or school board issues. Are you seeing/hearing about more groups forming?
If you are IN such a group, do you have any suggestions/recommendations for others who are also in other said groups for addressing topics in a manner that you may have found to work best for your local group? How are you staying connected with members? Is the group focused on one issue or multiple? Does it have subcommittees? Do you do any type of community fundraising or volunteer work within the community under the umbrella of the group?
Do NOT share the name & location of the group, but just looking to see what others here are doing OFF LINE.
Thanks!
Went to one last night, a conservative startup group. Sat there and listened to this one gal who was talking about election integrity, and how their county voted 11-7 for "voting centers" as a move to eliminate precincts. Apparently Arizona and Pennsylvania made similar moves. So, there was a considerable amount of hand-wringing and then one guy says "I'm tired of the way we're doing it" and that nothing was being done. Someone made a cute comment and that generated some laughs. I was pissed. You don't fucking laugh at people trying to bring up valid points. One of the other guest speakers was a former elementary school teacher who was fired for not complying with her school's mask mandate. She favors the approach of talking to twenty or so people a day to get them fired up, but then she revealed that at one time she was into multi-level marketing and that's what she used to justify this approach. So I'm sitting there thinking, if you take a multi-level marketing approach to this, you're going to end up as an Amway joke. Afterward, when the meeting was concluded, I listened to people talking to each other. When my wife mentioned to someone that we both follow the Q boards, you could see the guy's demeanor change to almost a scoffing attitude. This confirms what most of us on this board already know - Q followers, while gaining power, still have a long way to go. These people at this meeting have no idea what is coming. They're awake to an extent, but not that awake. I'm thinking the entire time "What the hell is wrong with you people? Talk is cheap. Pull your heads out of your asses and take a good look around you."
I wanted to say that we are reaching a point in this country where we stand by and watch elections being stolen, then wring our hands and sing the blues, hoping that it is going to be fixed. No, it is not going to be fixed, at least not in the way we think. I kept thinking of my veteran brothers and sisters who see what is going on today almost as a prelude to an armed revolution. I don't particularly want to see bloodshed, but then I think of the shitstorm that our Founding Fathers faced with the British and what it took to make this country. There's one group I can think of that will react if they're poked enough, and that's veterans. Most veterans have guns and know how to use them. After all the lies and propaganda, all the child trafficking shit, the depravity and the straying away from the nuclear family and having all this LGBTQXYZ shit shoved down our throats, I am not going to be in a mood to show a lot of mercy. Enough is enough. It is time to take our country back, and we may have to use a considerable amount of force, military and otherwise, to do it.
