The girl would technically be guilty of sending child porn and you would be guilty of possession, if 17 is underage in your state. I think scenarios like that have played out before.

I don't disagree that this kind of example takes the focus off truly heinous CP cases, but this is the kind of thing that has made so many adults not even care about CP. Things that wouldn't have been accepted twenty or thirty years ago by mainstream America, like underage girls taking nude selfies, are seen as a normal rite of passage now by a large percentage of people, mostly because there's no longer a solid father figure in most homes. Now, when they hear the term CP, they just roll their eyes and think we're exaggerating and it's all just "sexual expression." In my opinion, ALL of this needs to be criminalized, ANY form of sexualizing ANYONE underage, period. If this guy is truly guilty, then he deserves to pay for the crime, and so should the parents of any girls involved. Enough is enough.
