Today, my heart rate is elevated and I don't like it. Never again.
Today is my first official day sober with the intent of never going back. Ever onward.

Ya have to get it through your head it's poison before you can ever truly quit. Also seeing as it has a hand to mouth habit like smoking, keep a decent amount of water with you at all times and hit the urges with a sip of water. It helped me when I quit smoking cigarettes.
