Or… was this just a distraction from Belenciaga and the things and people connected to it… I just don’t know what to think about this.

How about, he's an oddball naturally and many people have manipulated him in his life, causing him to act in a contradictory manner, then he realizes being a loose cannon has both offensive and defensive possibilities?
