Well, I mean, no, but if it means the country as a whole gets wiped clean of the pond scum that's been allowed to accumulate for almost a century or more gets eradicated?
I can put up with a month of being locked in my house and not being able to stick my head out of window. With 3 children and two dogs.
To me it seems like a small price to pay for what you get as a reward in the end.
You're right, I wouldn't, the only way I could feel better about a lockdown would depend on WHO the message came from.
If trump himself brought it up, that scenario would weigh differently than if anyone else said it, or if it were just an EBS message.
Big cities would be mayhem.
When you really bring it down to reality it would be impossible to expect everyone to do this especially in rural America. It would never be followed nor enforced where I live. There's simply not enough manpower to cover the thousands of square miles but only have maybe 50k people. Of which 50% of them are in one town, so THEY could lock down, but not us here in the middle of nowhere with several miles between houses.
