“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32 NKJV
““For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV
Even Christ forgave those who hung on the cross, in the very act, and they probably the most evil and vile people on the planet of that time.
“Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.”
Luke 23:34 NKJV
No, where in the Bible does it say that somebody hast to ask for forgiveness, for somebody else to forgive them. Of course somebody can ask for forgiveness if they want to, but forgiveness is not based on someone asking for it. Holding anger, bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness in your heart, hurt yourself the most.
I recently have forgiven my husband’s mother and father for not calling me to the hospital when he died. I’m 90% sure that they poison him with Etheline glycol. It’s in the toxicology report. But at the time, I was a broken individual and had no way to prove it. It took me 10 years… But I finally forgave them for everything. Now it’s between them, and the Lord what they did, and how they live with that for the rest of their lives. I’ve let it go, and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. Feels good man. 🐸🙏
