It doesn't matter whether you like his Trump cards or not. It doesn't matter if you like blockchain or not. Today Trump forced a larger section of the population to scratch their heads and wonder WTF are NFTs? I suspect that in the near future blockchain technology will permit you to cast your vote in a format in which it cannot be changed by adjudicators and you will receive a confirmation proof that you cast a ballot. That proof will be an nft in your secure voting wallet that confirms that a real person cast a real ballot. The votes can be immediately tallied and new votes can't be "found" a week after elections. The nft will be proof that the ballot is valid.

This is the only explanation I've heard that makes some sense. But why is the art so bad, when we routinely see fan art that is much better? He used up a lot of political capital to do this. He did it on purpose.
