Denver declares state of emergency after surge in migrant arrivals

Democratic Mayor Michael Hancock (pictured) declared a state of emergency after the city saw 900 migrants arrive over the past few months, 600 of whom have arrived since December 2.

I have a job opportunity and would need to move to a small town about an hour nw of Denver. It's tempting, but I'm hesitant to move there, coming from NC. Can any frens advise on the CO life?

Also, some of the towns in the NW are based and they didn't fall for all the covid crap. You might be ok in one of those little towns, but it truly depends which one because Boulder is a cesspool!
