I would have to move there, as it's not remote. It's close to Nederland. I can't be anywhere near hippies and commies, so sounds like maybe a no go. I haven't worn a mask yet, and obviously didn't or won't get the poison shot. I don't mind remote, because at this point, I don't like many people, and I've never lived anywhere that I could walk to bars/restaurants, theaters, etc... I don't care about the "culture" crap. I'd rather be left alone and do my own thing. It's a solid opportunity, but I've been wary of CO for some time. I've a NC native and only ever lived here, but I've got to get outta this area because we're overwhelmed with liberals.
I will concur with these observations! Ft. Morgan is an excellent choice but too far from Nederland to commute. I think the Greeley area (Weld County) is also not infected with the lib virus, but not far to Loveland & they are somewhat woke but not as bad as Estes Park. Estes is beautiful but EVERYTHING is triple priced in Estes since its a tourist trap.
Idaho Springs I'm also not familiar with, but since it's in the same general area, likely some infection rates but my guess is that its lower than the other 2.
I hate that I can't recommend you come here, but I'm glad that you could get some insight before leaving the area you've always known. It sounds like you might have walked into a hornet nest since Boulder County is literally California's mini-me.
Praying you find a better solution or that you can hold until the swamp is drained and the rats move on!
Estes park, Nederland, and Idaho springs area. Thanks for the reply!
