Though I don’t know the meaning of the first, the second I do; Dec 15th As we were landing in Seattle for our layover to Medford just before the pilot announced our decent into Seattle I heard Mom’s voice saying my full name including my middle name like she would when I was a kid when she was mad at me or I was in trouble. She said it this time long and drawn out only this time, she used my married name instead of my maiden name. She is currently in nursing care in Sedro Woolley WA (which was supposed to be only temporary for rehabilitation from surgery but circumstances dictated otherwise.). I texted her but it was late and she was likely asleep.

December 16, 2022. 1:41am Dream; Got in to hotel room at about 2AM completely exhausted and as I dozed of I dreamt I was at a County fair with carnival and clowns in huge puffy ridiculous costumes with large polka dots. They made their way to grassy muddy parking lot and starting riding unicycles, walking on stilts and doing handstands and cartwheels then began tumbling and falling into each other. I believe this is what is currently happening in our government.

1 Corinthians 1:27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,

Psalm 94 11The Lord knows the thoughts of man, That they are futile. 12Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law, 13That You may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked. 14For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance. 15But judgment will return to righteousness, And all the upright in heart will follow it. 16Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? 17Unless the Lord had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence. 18If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. 19In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul. 20Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You? 21They gather together against the life of the righteous, And condemn innocent blood. 22But the Lord has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge. 23He has brought on them their own iniquity, And shall cut them off in their own wickedness; The Lord our God shall cut them off.

The Fool Says, There Is No God To the choirmaster. Of David. Psalm 14  The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
    They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds;
    there is none who does good. 2  The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man,
    to see if there are any who understand,[a]
    who seek after God. 3  They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt;
    there is none who does good,
    not even one. 4  Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers
    who eat up my people as they eat bread
    and do not call upon the Lord? 5  There they are in great terror,
    for God is with the generation of the righteous. 6  You would shame the plans of the poor,
    but[b] the Lord is his refuge. 7  Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
    When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people,
    let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.

Romans 1:22 19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
