Thank you for your post. I've tried many things for my RA even Hydroxychloriquine without much relief. I just happen to have a few bottles of Quercetin on hand. I intend to give this a try and will keep you posted as to the results
Best wishes, DeplorableMimi. My SiL had arthritis years ago -- I don't remember which kind -- and was told she'd not be able to even move her fingers in a few years. She started on 1200mg SAMe/day, got better quickly, and hasn't had a problem since.
SAMe is also great for your liver and, in higher doses (1800mg) for depression.
There are LOTS of other things that also help (see link above). Taking more than one thing is usually more effective than taking just one, in my experience. It makes sense given how insanely complex biology is.
Thank you for that information. I'm one of those people that needs to research my median conditions. One, so that I have a better understanding of my own disease. Two, so I can ask my doctor intelligent questions as to the next way to help myself. I've had multiple medical problems since I was 27 years old. I have a rare Endocrine disease that many doctors are not knowledgeable about. There have been times when doctors have been informed by myself as to my condition.
Having worked at a hospital in Radiology and Medical Records for years there is one thing that was clear. YOU are your best advocate for yourself. I'm sad to say that over 75% of my fellow employees didn't care about the patients. It was just a job to them. Having observed both sides I can assure you that YOU need to take responsibility for your own health.
Educate yourself about your disease or what have you. Then advocate for yourself based on that information and knowing your own body. This goes for your loved ones as well. Do it for them if they are unable to.
OK, I'll step down from my soapbox now. Thanks for the additional resources AshlandDog, I'm going in!
