There should never be a former intel or national security official on any tech platform ever or we will cycle back to the mess we are in now.

Agree. The seven years is of no comfort to me whatsoever. "Work at" does that mean employed? How about talk to, deal with, contact, etc. Even then they will find a way to launder their "requests" through what appear to be neutral third parties. Just get rid of these agencies altogether. They are way too big.
