What can a scammer do with your Facebook password?

I mean, how would one make money off that? Someone is trying to tell me i won something but i have to confirm my identity by giving them my fb profile info including my password. Lol. What the hell do they want with that?

A 'lot' of people put things into facebook which are valuable bits of info, some even have financial data in there. Or simpler things, your address and schedules; if I wanna burgle you I know when you're not home, what treats your dog likes, stuff.

There are scams galore to profit from stealing 'your' stuff, even stuff you consider useless such as facebook. And facebook has always been a government spy-op; WHY does any sane person use it?

Yeah I told him I dont even use facebook anymore. Its just bizarre that they make enough $ off this scam to go to the trouble
