German journo: European media writing pro-US stories under CIA pressure (VIDEO)
German journalist and editor Udo Ulfkotte says he was forced to publish the works of intelligence agents under his own name, adding that noncompliance ran the risk of being fired. Ulfkotte made the revelations during interviews with RT and Russia Insider.
It's a great scam. The intel agencies spot you early on. They monitor your progress and, if suitable, they help you get better jobs. They can give you inside stories and pave the way for you.
Eventually, they write articles that you just have to put your name to. If you are a time-pressed journo I can imagine that being quite welcome sometimes.
You do not necessarily know what is happening. You "just happen" to come across a contact with a good story. Journalists also make good spies. They are allowed into more places than the general public and no-one questions it. So there is synergy between spies and journalists.
