Started watching it out of curiosity, and about the 2-min mark in the intro, a quote comes up, "the FBI is working very hard to stop them" because of course. 5 episodes, a good starting point for truth about systemic protection of child sexual molesters.

My impression was many of them were running from abuse with their kids. There is no way to know without serious research.
Art the time I would see these on the milk cartons, I believed the narrative. Now, in with you, my first impression is the opposite of what we're being told.
Which today means to me that every fugitive they announce on tv makes me think of the movie The Fugitive more than any actual real criminal search.
