Remember back in the day when a business could post a sign that said, “We reserve the right to refuse business to anyone”? It may not seem fair, but it is worth a discussion. Do we force bakers and website developers? Do we force people to wear masks, show vax passes, go through facial scans, etc.
In that case, her employer was a law firm that was involved in a lawsuit against them. My guess is that they didn’t want her potentially snooping around, taking photos of “violations” to add to the suit.
