Yeah, exactly. I’m thinking they may be having a tough time ‘forensically redacting’ it. No expert here but if there were an ‘image’ made earlier by white-hats it could be putting the bureau in a tight spot.

My guess it that it will have suffered some sort of claimable physical damage prior to release......like “Oh....yeah, yeah, ..........of course..........here’s the hard drive, it is a bit scattered, one of the techs accidentally dropped it - we got what we could off of it though”. Lots of missing sectors incomming.
