Slovakia has a holiday where the men splash/squirt/spray water on women/girls and them lightly spank them with a switch.
I never got the reason for this day and the significance. I was told this by two Slovakian exchange students (girls) that I met. Slovakia sounds like a place I'd like to visit...but I digress.
The dude using the water bottle to spray the soyboy holding the ukie flag, is basically saying he is a girl. It is a cultural insult.
Spelled it wrong. Dyngus Day. It’s basically a celebration of the solemn Easter season being over so the guys and girls can flirt. Pussy willows are one of the first plants to bloom in spring.
Was a biggish deal in Buffalo NY where we grew up Roman Catholic. Wow what a trip it’s been. Haven’t lived there for over 30 years, fairly well recovering catholic, and awake for a bunch of years.
Gotcha. It makes sense in the context of how shy the girls were to talk about it.
Seems like a flirting thing.
My Wife is old school Catholic. Latin Rite and all. I can relate.
The way I learned about it is that my Wife's Great Uncle (and godfather) became a English teacher in Slovakia. He visited us and brought some students with him. Strangely, they all were young attractive females. Crazy how that happens.
There's a bit of a cultural backstory to this.

Dingus Day. Day after Easter. It’s a Polish holiday also. Use pussy willow branch.
What is the significance of this? I never had that explained to me by those two Slovakian hotties.
