I became a GAW fan at the end of 2019. I’d always been a conservative and supported Bush Sr. and JR, McCain, Romney, over the years. I supported DJT in 2016 because I thought America needed a wake up call. I didn’t realize it was I who needed to wake up!
In 2017ish I started paying much more attention to politics. Mainly because DJT was entertaining. I loved that he actually said what he appeared to think and believe. And, I agreed with nearly everything he was saying. I became a bigger fan of DJT and started paying even more attention to politics and the news.
I quickly realized that the news lied about everything DJT did and said. I was naive enough to think the news mostly told the truth about everything else though.
I found out about Q in Med 2019. Then the scamdemic hit. I started consuming nothing but “news”. I’m ashamed to admit that I tuned into Chris Cuomo to keep tabs on the deadly Covid, and I thought Andrew Cuomo was doing a good job as Gov of NY. I quickly realized the news was all fake and lies! I started digging and digging and digging into the truth. It’s surprisingly hard to find and I haven’t stopped searching for the truth.
I am a completely different person now. Awake. Closer to god. And involved doing my part fighting for freedom on every front. I get depressed, disgusted, pissed, and then hopeful and optimistic multiple times a day.
Throughout my journey you at GAW have been a source of encouragement, wisdom, hope and even humor. I consider you all to be my brothers and sisters in the fight for freedom
Thanks to everyone of you! May God bless you and your families. I will never give up the fight and I know none of you will either. God wins, always!
I was a moderate Democrat through my college years, happily voted for Bill Clinton and Al Gore - and then.... got Hannitized through his radio show on my drive home from work and started to wake up. Obama was the first time I didn't vote Democrat - I just wasn't bamboozled by him. I was a big supporter of Fred Thompson and Herman Cain back then. And I was behind Trump the moment he came down the escalator.
I thought I was a Dem because I was more socially liberal (or thought I was - I did a lot of volunteer work back then at Duke Hospital in the pediatric AIDS clinic when I was at UNC-CH for example - but I was fiscally conservative). Now I know my values always lined up more conservative, because I never felt government should force citizens to "act" more socially - I just always enjoyed volunteering personally.
