Link to yesterday’s post.
Holy Father, thanks for making this weekend serene and joyous. I pray our encounters be warm and constructive. I pray everyone feels the need to repeat such prosperous moments.
AGENDA
Today we celebrate Adela of Pfalzel: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adela_of_Pfalzel
Saint Adela (? - 735) and her sister Irmina of Oeren (? - c. 716) were possibly two princesses who may have been the daughters of Saint Dagobert II and his Anglo-Saxon wife, but this has largely been disproved. Some have also said Adela was the daughter of Irmina of Oeren. Adela was married and had a child by her husband, Alberic. Alberic died within a few years of the marriage. Despite multiple marriage offers, she chose to take up religious life. She founded the convent of Palatiolum in lands that were then undeveloped outside of Trier. The site later developed into the town of Pfalzel. She was the second abbess of this convent, after the archbishop' sister Severa, and died on December 24, 735. Some sources record that she was the grandmother of Gregory of Utrecht. She shares the feast day of 24 December with her sister Irmina.

See you tomorrow, Frens!🤓
Good find. Happy that you stickied it. Made it easy for me to find. Thanks.
Good morning Mary. Merry Christmas Eve to you, George and Izzy.
Dear Mary🤗💐
I have no possibility to sticky anything here. For some reason, a clairvoyant mod decided this was worth stickying. God bless that initiative I guess.🙏🏻
I spent the day at my Mum where my oldest sister brought her 3 kids and the eldest’s lovely bride. It was a joyous Christmas before Christmas, also our wedding 29th anniversary.
I lray you also have an exhilarating Christmas. God bless you.🙏🏻💐🤗♥️
First of all, I would like to wish you both a very happy wedding anniversary. And I'm sure you had a joyous time with your Mum and family this season. Secondly, I want to wish you, Ann, and Thalie and Chonchon a very wonderful Christmas Day. I'm also sure you have something wonderful made to eat. I haven't had the time to make your cookies yet, as I spent most of last night making pies and side dishes for todays dinner; but I will get around to them. And so I wish you both a very Merry Christmas. Keep warm, stay safe, and enjoy all the love and family that God grants us all. Merry Christmas.
Mary!🤗💐❤️🔥
Merry Christmas and Good morning. Just jumping on a while before I make a last minute 'apple crunch' for George at his request. Then I can put in my Christmas ham and start the rest of the meal shortly before time to take the ham out of oven.
How is Mum and the Sister and kids? Hope there was lots of hugs and kisses spreading the room. I know your Mum must have been very happy. It's always good to have your kids around you. My son is in Carlsbad, New Mexico so they had their Christmas from him early. However, Santa is still making a small appearance at their house. My daughter behind me will be here with her family to share in our meal today. And I will call Ninky and the others to see what all Santa brought them.
Anyway, I am praying for no rolling black outs today so I can finish everything without any disturbances. George will be going to pick up my next to the oldest sister Margie. She has early onset Alzheimers. I usually pick her up a few things for the holidays and make sure she has a good meal. She gets confused at times and I have a hard time of understanding her; but she is my sister and I still love her. My oldest sister Wanda had a brain aneurysm when she was 48 years old. She has been in a wheel chair all these years. Her son usually takes care of her Christmas dinner. Other than that, I suppose the rest of my family is fine. So have a blessed Christmas day my friend. Give Ann a hug for me. Mary
