Rapture doesn't mean what I think people thinks it means. 144,000 are called into the clouds to wage war with the evil one, it is not everyone. The rapture is a feeling of great peace, it allows the warriors of God to do what they have to for him so that he can save as many as possible. His warriors do not worry about their own safety or gain, they have been set free from many of the concerns of this world so that they can accomplish the will of God which I imagine is freedom for the world from the grip of Satan.
Go back and reread.
Jesus Christ lands on earth which splits the mount of olives to save the 144k from being wiped out. An elementary reading of the passage makes that clear. In addition to that the saints of God come back WITH Jesus Christ to save the 144k.
It also says that Jesus will have flames for eyes, a double edged sword for a tongue and will be with with hair white as snow and we are going to wash ourselves white in his blood... Sword shows up a lot in the Bible, so I look for what Jesus calls a sword. The word of God. Lots of illustrative text.
There is discussion to be had about those that will accept Christ and those that will refuse, though their is to be a great increase in believers during the trials and tribulations. We are to win souls in the grace of the Father, he wants as many as would come and I dare not limit His power. The one who halted the Sun in it's journey through the Heavens can do any thing he damn well pleases and I believe that includes a total victory!
1 Thessalonians 4: 14-18.
There is a polarity between the groups now. They have seen all the evidence with their own eyes. Yet, they fight the reality by only listening to all the sources that keep feeding the lies. Every day that goes by, we are loving further apart. Our minds expand into the future. They are left behind in the web of lies.
read the book of revelations about trumpets. All hell breaks loose on planet earth before the last trumpet.
the rapture theory is based on scripture in a different book "At the last trumpet, in a twinkling, . . ."
Christians are not escaping everything
Bible says we are saved to the uttermost and that we are spared from the wrath that is to come. Pretty clear once we are gathered our troubles end.
Please share the address of this bible verse? thank you :)
I'm ready for Christ Return Nd the gathering together.
