Although not an option for all, I moved from Long Beach, CA to Colorado, then Texas from the outskirts of Austin to the outskirts of San Antonio. I am leaving the country next week to take advantage of the tax exemptions and financial perks. For as it is now, I am paying more taxes now in Texas than I ever did back in CA.

I think the best option is to stay and fight. Although coming from me it may sound stupid. I only did what I thought was best given my time frame and situation. Don't be like our ancestors and bend over and allow taxes to take hold of the nation. In this case, don't bend over and let them continue this tyranny. They are not what this country represents.

Given the current events around the world, I lose faith but I never lost the belief that patriots and select units are working alongside the plan out of sight.

I envy those who are able to stay and fight. You put some heavy weight on the word patriot. I learned I need to be rid of my financial stress to give more time for operations. I may be gone but I will continue the battle. You have family in many places.
