TLDR: personal experience.. after i had same exact issue. Cavity on 1 tooth. Been using poison paste for decades. NOW I use a water pic toothbrush & water pic combo thing... I dip wet brush in baking soda & brush. Then do hot water pic. Then do 20 mins of coconut oil pulling. In 3 treatments i saw my cavity go down. It's Definitely worth your time to try! EDIT: is also making teeth whiter. For my kid too.
