Severe preeclampsia requires the baby be removed from the mother to prevent her liver and kidneys from shutting down. Some sicko might call it abortion, but most would try to save the baby, I believe as early as 24-26 weeks can stil live.
Giving birth is not abortion. Yes, it is true, that the only way to solve eclampsia is to deliver the baby. Babies born very early have been surviving. And thriving. Earliest a baby has been born and survived is 21 weeks and 5 days.
I knew the medicine was improving, I had a friend deliver at 26 weeks 20+ years ago which survival at that point was rare at the time. Amazing how far we have come to save premature babies!
Advances in medicine are amazing. Technology is also what makes abortion so abhorrent. How can our society not see those are human babies?
