Why?

I'm confused as to why they are sitting in a hospital bed and why they are both wearing hospital bracelets.

Are they all pretending they both gave birth??

The bracelets are likely to identify them as the 'owners'. When my first was born, all 3 of us had bracelets so dad could be matched to his baby if anyone needed to.
