There's alot of people on here that think being skeptical is 'dooming' and questioning their favorite influencers or sources of information is 'shilling' ---
A cultural trend that has resulted a lot of people keeping their skeptism or questions to themselves.
Yea I get the being sensitive to dooming and shilling (we have been under attack with it and some will use our well-intended-skepticism to highjack threads and narratives) but it does seem as though a sizable portion of our community has already lost sight of ‘question EVERYthing’ and ‘Trust but VERIFY’ and what those slogans really mean. I know it’s exhausting, constantly being vigilant and skeptical of everyone and everything but (at least) until the fog of war lifts we can’t trust anyone and we damn sure can’t afford to outsource our critical thinking again.
