I find it hilarious that maybe one or two people were like “well maybe research stuff to try and see what their talking points are” and the rest advise OP to either never talk to these people or judge them as stupid because…the coworkers express different opinions.
Gotta love the most suggested (and most well-received) advice is to disengage and offer no conversation.
Also interesting is the projection and perceived actions of the “enemy”. OP comes to the conclusion that, since they think different, the coworkers are dumb. Which easily puts a judgment out and an excuse not to engage.
Their supposed advice of “don’t let them just say look it up” or “make sure they site their sources”…are the very issues normies present. Our sources never matter because they are either not mainstream or a thousand other goalpost-moving reasons. Critical thinking is such a lost art that people have a hard time disseminating facts between the lines, which is key to understanding what is going on.
But these giggledicks need a Buzzfeed listicle from an approved Big Brother blog in order to accept it as fact.
Protip: if you know of a large group of people that “seem nice” and seem to be good people, and you decide the whole lot of them are ignorant because they don’t think like you…you are a broken person fundamentally.
