"This is the very definition of child predatory sexual grooming."
"Public schools are irreparably broken" would be an understatement. I hope they are successful in their lawsuit against the school. It appears Maine wants to pass laws to protect this type of behavior even more. I am pretty mild-mannered but this makes my blood boil...how do you even prepare children to deal with this evil behavior?
You are preaching to the choir...there are just too many excellent resources available not to consider this as a viable option...there are national homeschool support groups...no one has to go it alone. One of the greatest things about children is that they love to learn...give them a rich environment and it almost takes care of itself. The thing I hate worst about schools {and doctors} is that the average becomes the norm and there is no place for children who are above or below this average. Just make everyone cookie cutter and the educators are happy...no offense to the really great educators out there!
