Imagine how much easier this would have been for McCarthy if he'd just done his job and used his influence and tried to get as many Republicans into office as possible. He is now paying for taking FTX funds and working against MAGA candidates - if GOP had 240 seats, 5 holdouts would have made no difference and he wouldn't have destroyed good will. McCarthy is a swamp creature through and through and they can no longer be tolerated for their treason.
