Your comment is most likely true. None of us knows what Trump's strategy is but I'm sure he has one. But your comment has nothing to do with the fact that events are moving so fast, the headline and the story are old news and no longer true. Trump HAS said he continues to endorse McCarthy. He could change that but so far he hasn't.
Unlike other news sites, Gateway Pundit seldom updates stories, they just post a new one. So you have to check other stories on the site to see if an older one is still valid. This one isn't.
I actually didn't mean to include the article link, only the photo which I'd mentioned in another post earlier yesterday. This was only my 3rd post... mostly I just blah, blah, blah...so forgive my oophs!
I'm just trying to help you, no forgiveness needed. Gateway Pundit is one of the few choices for conservative news but they do some pretty flaky things, like leaving gaping holes in stories or not updating stories that need to be updated. I suppose the last one they do to preserve the original but it's still confusing. Right now their lead story is from 7 pm last night and the headline says the House has reconvened (not today it hasn't) then an update added saying they have adjourned (not today they haven't.) They reconvene today at noon eastern.
I know. sigh I really fault GP for not putting the profits I know it got after Fox News blew itself up on election night 2020 into hiring real reporters as well as editors and copywriters. The mistakes in their headlines and stories are pathetic not to mention holes when they copy and paste part of a story and leave out important info.
Epoch Times is more professional but they're so slanted for some Chinese group they veer off into propaganda sometimes. Not that I'm a fan of China but I am a fan of accuracy.
Absolutely understand and I've felt that way many times during the past 6 years, but I always try to take a deep breath and relax because so much has been proven to us.

My emotions have swung wildly over the last couple days, so it's been difficult to keep my rationality in the forefront.
