Yep, the more they pushed, the more my wife and I resisted. I’m really grateful for the whole experience, because my family has had a medical great awakening. Sure, the discrimination and disdain we experienced from people we liked was hurtful, but it also showed us how quickly people will turn on their friends, essentially because the gov told them to.

A year ago, I may not have been singing this tune. But after taking time to absorb and reflect, I truly am grateful for the experience. I know, probably a weird take. But we have to focus on growth and finding the positives amongst the turmoil.
