This is correct. The frequencies that are materially different than 5G don't penetrate buildings worth a shit, and don't go very far from the tower.
The only thing 'bad' about 5G was the Chinese components required to deploy it at the time. EOs and legislation since then has, effectively, kicked Huawei/China out of the 5G and future "6G" market in the US.
Now we just have to worry about the likes of Ericksson and Cisco embedding Chinese vulnerabilities into their systems.
