I believe this plan was always fluid in nature, like a chess game. I do believe that there are definitive Check Mate moves on the board, the Brunson case being one of them, that would ultimately end the game, but such measures would inevitably lead to collateral damage.

Q told us that riots would occur during the precipice. Damage is not completely avoidable in any Check Mate scenario, but there are timelines that can lead to far less carnage and a containment of the fallout once the Fall of the Cabal finally occurs.

The plan was always about assessing, reassessing, and using Game Theory to produce the most effective set of moves and countermoves that would bring this plan to a satisfactory close. Like any chess game, the timeline of these events is not wholly predictable. I believe the Q Team have certain conditions that must be met prior to the precipice being initiated. We have likely fulfilled some of those prerequisites, and are awaiting others.
