Also, I don’t think her religious views are any of our business. We don’t know who that menorah belongs to and it really shouldn’t matter. I don’t judge people by their color or ethnicity. I judge them by their behavior and all signs point to her content being positive and helpful. Spot on, actually.

One thing she left out was the issue of substance abuse amongst medical professionals. According to https://www.beataddiction.com/the-prevalence-of-substance-abuse-in-medical-professionals/amp/ “More recent research even states that up to 69% of medical professionals have admitted to misusing substances throughout their careers.” It’s something to always be aware of, especially if you’re going to be hospitalized or receive surgical treatment. It’s hard to get the actual figures because let’s face it, how many are going to admit it when they’re actively employed? Access can lead to addiction. Always watch for signs of impaired medical staff. If you’re seriously ill or are going to be sedated, make sure you have an advocate, family, friend with you at all times.
