I agree. The timing on this is quite suspect!

Back in early 2021 or late 2020 he was going around telling people that they needed to step up and stop waiting because there was NO plan and it was up to the people to act.
He isn't wrong. How can we expect people to awaken if they are under the impression there is a plan taking care of it all. Nothing will change without the people exercising civic responsibility. Doesn't take a majority, either. Just enough to push the Overton window.
Well, there are certainly countering theories that have floated around on this forum, and you're likely to meet them at one point or another.
