Problem: shot in rhe back. The question is, was he actually leaving or did he turn his back. The video begins as he walks in but it's apparent he was there previously due to people under the table.
Much easier to be declared self defense when shot in the front. But much harder to draw. I suspect he knew he was going to turn around again so he took the opportunity. I would have done the same thing.
Exactly this. Robber is pointing his gun directly at the person in the corner when hero dude draws and it looks like he must have called out to robber to stop or something as robber turns his head. Robber's arm starts to turn towards hero (presumably to take aim) and hero nails him, robber's gun goes flying on the floor towards the corner and hero walks over to get the gun from the ground with his left hand, makes sure he's down. I'm pretty sure hero only fired one shot.
Edit: I stand corrected. From another video (same) - with sound - I counted nine rounds being fired. He did start shooting almost as soon as the robber walked past him and continued after the robber was on the ground.

HE WAS ROBBING THE NEXT VICTIM NEAR THE DOOR THEN WAS GOING TO WORK WAY BACK AGAIN
