the cups have to intentionally be viewed at weird angles to see what you're describing

Put one cup in another and rotate. That's it. Just happens to line up perfectly every time, I guess. You don't have to try hard. Coincidentally that's exactly how the cups are stored and it happens 5 times. The fact that you think it's accidental is obnoxious, stay clueless.
