I wasn't. I think the SCOTUS has made it abundantly clear that they aren't going to overturn elections or even get into state election procedure squabbles. And as it turns out, this case wasn't even even about that, but about having a lower court reconsider a ruling. So it was just a bunch of wishful thinking, pie in the sky ranting. Do we really want one unassailable small group having such power? How many years have we fretted about liberal courts doing that, and we were on the verge of having an untouchable liberal court that would have cemented laws in place for the DS?
